Khandbari, a city located in the eastern part of Nepal, is known for its rich cultural heritage and agricultural practices. Among the various handicrafts produced in Khandbari, sheep’s wool cheek, locally known as ‘Redi’, is very popular. Made from the wool of sheep reared in the region, Radi is woven using traditional techniques that have been passed down through generations. Radi production is not only an important source of income for local artisans, it also promotes the preservation of traditional weaving techniques and the use of locally sourced materials.
